Art is not what you see, but what you make others see.

Hey, fringeling, are you still on Fringe-Forum? Long time no see, you had the best theories.
:iconthreewoes:
Thanx ----- no, I miss those days though. One of the other users and I were going to make a printable book for everyone and D-Roc got nervous about copyrighting things from his website. So I was blocked from the site, but never actually banned. We meant no harm and I tried to make ammends, but it was all for not. Oh well :) Plus, the second season lacks the charm and mystery of the first. What do you think about the second season so far?

Hey, I knew you must've been blocked, seems like he's done that to a lot of people. I was banned, looooong story, don't know if you wanna hear it, but everyone's now getting banned or blocked left and right, because apparently Roco is incredibly insecure about the site.

Your theories were the best, and you paid incredible attention to detail that pretty much hasn't been matched by anyone. If you're still watching the show, and you're still interested in chatting, I'd really like to know what's on your mind about any easter eggs and such.

The second season is missing *something*, can't quite put my finger on it. Haven't loved the cases, and I'm missing all of them being in the lab together. Also, not a huge fan of Peter acting as an FBI agent, and I miss Charlie already :(

Anyways, hope to hear back from you :)

I know it makes me a super dork, but I was in NY recently and just had to see it :) My last "homage" to the greatness that was Fringe :(

I got the same feeling from Roco ----- a lot of insecurity. He was brilliant when it came to the show, and super friendly most of the time. Maybe things just started getting to his head, I don't know LOL. The forum was a great place to share one's creative outlets for Fringe-Inspired stuff ..... and it's a shame he started putting so many prison walls on all of it. Oh well.

If you'd like to keep in touch about Fringe, that's cool .... but I was sooooooo disappointed with the Fringe-Forum thing and this second season so far, I'm ashamed to admit I haven't even gandered at Walter's labnotes. I don't even know all the Observer appearances, and I haven't looked for a single easter egg :) I think this second season is turning into a disjointed lackluster X-files. The Pattern seemingly went up in smoke with Mr. Jones. The secret symbols from the first season were pointless. Red-green-red junk has now been replaced by probes in the brain. All the prisoners they rounded up from the first season I guess served no purpose either (Loeb, Fischer, Nick Lane, etc). ZFT is over all of a sudden. Olivia no longer has flashbacks. The Latin speaking peeps that John Scott worked for are history. NOTHING is linked to Walter's previous work anymore. It's all a bunch of bull$#%*t in my opinion. I know I sound somewhat bitter, but all the mystery building in the first season was superb ... all seemed like it was headed somewhere big. I know some of the plot lines are still there, but the eastereggs seemed pointless. The comic books seemed pointless. And nothing gets built up anymore. The shapeshifter thing could have been awesome, had it not been just thrown out there, "Oh, okay. Shapeshifters from another dimension, cool." The thing that made Mr. Jones' teleport so frigging awesome is the way it was built up. It was built up like, "holy crap, I know what they are going to do .... but did they really do it?" I mean .... the shapeshifter thing was just laid on us with no mystery or anything. One moment they change shape, the next they bleed mercury and no one is surprised.

It's just missing that "question mark on the box" that Abrams was so masterful at. I no longer care what's in the box. I still watch it, just because I want to know more about the Observer to be honest. But even then, his briefcase had some photos of Walter. Big whoop.

Soooo .... as you can see, I have some opinions :) But they are negative. I'd love to hear more of yours if youd like though. And yeah, I miss Charlie some LOL.

Actually, you are the one who lived in NY right? You probably miss the whole gang. You saw them all the time didn't you when they were shooting? Lucky girl ;-)

Anyway, ttyl :)
